Will a team from Texas win the 2027 College Football National Championship?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if a team from the state of Texas wins the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship Game (the title game of the 2026-27 College Football Playoff, scheduled for January 25, 2027). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The FBS teams from the state of Texas are Baylor, Houston, North Texas, Rice, Sam Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech, UTEP, and UTSA. If at any point it becomes impossible for every one of these teams to win the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship Game (e.g., all have been eliminated or failed to qualify), this market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship Game is cancelled, postponed after February 8, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or no champion has been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information from the College Football Playoff (https://collegefootballplayoff.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
